THOH Marge Spoon Rest

Crafted from stoneware clay on the wheel, I free-hand drew the image directly onto the leather-hard surface using a squeeze bottle of black underglaze. After the first firing, I brushed on glaze to deepen the shadows and bring a glossy clear and black finish, then sent it through its final firing to seal the magic in place. A piece shaped by patience, intention, and a steady hand.
