Snake Cup A

Crafted from stoneware clay on the wheel, I decorated the outside with an underglaze transfer of a snake on the leather hard surface. After the first firing, I brushed on crystalizing copper glaze, then sent it through its final firing to seal the magic in place. A piece shaped by patience, intention, and a steady hand.
