Smoke & Soil Planter

$202.00

Born from flame and earth, this vessel carries the memory of fire, ash, and raw land. Crafted with wild clay gathered and refined by hand, its surface holds the subtle grit and soul of the place it came from — minerals, roots, and ancient sediment fused into form. The woodfire process gave it life: stoked over many hours, fed with burning timber, and touched by living flame. Ash floated through the kiln and settled gently across the surface, melting into a natural glaze that kissed the clay with smoky sweeps and ember-dark flecks.

Heat carved its story into the walls — soft blushing tones, charred streaks, and gentle texture where flame licked and receded. No two moments in the fire ever repeat, and no two pieces from such a firing are ever twins. This piece stands as a warm, hearth-like embrace of nature’s alchemy — wild earth transformed by heat, breath, and time into a quiet vessel that feels both ancient and alive.
